Candy Lacquer Movie Night and My Secret Swap Package

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!
It is a glorious fall feeling day here in Upstate New York. I love sweatshirt weather, and snuggling up with a cup of coffee and a good book. Today I have a new mani using Ulta Bam-Blue-zled and Candy Lacquer Movie Night.

First off let me apologize for the horrible picture and swatch quality. I cannot find my camera so all the pictures were taken with my iPhone. Secondly, let me also say that I have no clue what the heck happened to my tips. Something weird happened and they look all splotchy. I don't know if it because the polish was so thick on the nail and it got moved around while it was drying or what. All I know is, is that it looked awesome when I put it on and when I woke up the next day it looked all funky.

This polish is so gorgeous. I cannot even begin to describe all the different glitters that is in this. It is PACKED full of glitter in a clear base. I bought this because it had stars and diamonds and all sorts of shapes in it. Imagine my surprise when a heart came out of the bottle! I didn't even know that there were hearts in there. WIN! This is one coat of Nail Magic base coat, two coats of Ulta Bam-Blue-Zled, two coats of Movie Night, one coat of Gelous, and a coat of Seche Vite.

Now that that is out of the way let me show you what I received in my most recent polish swap. She bought me stuff that I would have totally bought for myself. She did that good. There were seven polishes in all plus she sent along a hilarious note pad, which I didn't have with me. I will have to get it and show you a picture. There were three polishes from Ulta,(L to R) Smoke Screen, Maine Attraction and Bam-Blue-Zled. Three perfect blue colors to add to my stash.

She also sent along three polishes from the Spoiled line (I can't get them here so they were on my wish list) (L to R)Checkin' Into Rehab, Distant Memory and Tip Your Waitress. So perfect. I can't wait to wear Tip Your Waitress and see what kind of reactions I get. Lastly is a polish that I have been eyeing at my local Sally's for a while : Glittering Garland. This is a beautiful shimmery deep green polish. So a HUGE thank you to Morgan!

One of these days I am going to have to do more nail mail posts...I got even more in the mail and I need to share!!

  1. Thanks, but MAN let me tell you, this polish was HELL to get off my nails. It just didn't want to budge! I did the foil method for over 5 mins and it still stuck on there.
