Fall Loosebutton Luxebox

Good afternoon!  Today I have the debut box from Loosebutton. The Luxebox from Loosebutton is a very popular beauty subscription service in other countries and they decided to bring it to the US.  They formerly were a monthly subscription and have recently changed their program over to be a seasonal service.   Of course I signed up right away to be notified when subscriptions were opened up, so when they were, we were given two choices, one season or two.  I opted for two seasons, which was $50.  Sounds like a lot, but $25 a box isn't much more than the Glossybox service that is out there.  Besides I figured I could swing $25 a quarter.

I was surprised when my box showed up because I honestly had no clue when they were shipping out.  The box itself reminded me of a small shoe box and inside it was a monogrammed sealed envelope (with a J for Jennifer).  In other countries this service sealed the inside of the tissue paper in the boxes with stickers with names on them.  No tissue paper to attach to in this box, it was lined with this weird polyester feeling handkerchief thing.  Not really sure what it was supposed to be.  No matter, the inside of the box was LOADED with goodies.

Ok so on to the products inside the box.  The first thing I spotted was the full sized Essie polish. The color I got was Recessionista. Recessionista is a dark dark maroon red polish.  According to Essie it is a brick red polish.  The next thing I saw was the box of Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips.  The style is Glitz Blitz.  I was already a happy happy girl! I have never tried any sort of nail polish strip so these will be an awesome first go at it.

There was also a full sized make up item in the box, eyeko skinny liquid liner in black.

And of course what box wouldn't be complete without some cremes for the face.  Orlane provided two of these.  A thermo active firming serum and an super moisturizing concentrate.  According to the brochure the serum is to be applied to the face before your creme to achieve a warming effect that prompts the production of collagen and the concentrate is a lightweight silky cream that works for 24 hours to restore skins optimal moisture balance and helps regain its suppleness and radiance.  Not much in these two tubes.  I tried the moisturizer and to me it smelled awful and there wasn't much in the tube.

To go along with the creams is a toner from Vichy.  Just like other toners this one is supposed to leave you feeling refreshed.

And just so your feet aren't left out there was a tube of Pretty Piede from principessa beauty.  An interesting smelling cream that is supposed to soften up your feet and make you feel pampered.  Lastly, there was a Schick Hydro Silk razor in the box.  Razors can be expensive so a nice one is always a welcome addition.
I was going to go on and show my Ipsy bag and Birchbox for September but I think I have rambled on enough.
