Ok, who knows that song?
Today I have a semi-fail at nail art. What I had in my mind, did not translate to the nail. Not. At. All.
I wanted the perfect color block with white lines in between all the colors. I have seen other people do them. However, I don't have their patience I guess. In time I will get better. In hindsight I realize that I could have just used my white striping polish to obtain the look I wanted but didn't think about it until days later.
Maybe next time.
I started with a base of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White Out (over a coat of Orly Bonder). I used a base of white to make the colors pop. Once that was dry I taped off half my nail and painted that with Jessica Pink Explosion. From there I free handed squares of Orange Zest and Yellow Flame, also from Jessica.I did use two coats of each color. I topped with a coat of Seche Vite and called it a day.
Man was this a bight mani. An eye catcher for sure.
Would you rock a neon look?
