Fuse Nail Polish Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Good evening everyone!!!    I hope you are having a good week thus far.  Mine is meh, it's still cold here and I am just ready for it to be warm.  I knew that it would get cold if I even thought about putting my coat away.  Thankfully, I didn't put it too far away.   Soccer starts next week for my son, so I am hoping that I am not going to be freezing out there!

Today's post features a new to me brand.  I have seen this one all over Instagram (actually that's how I stumbled on to it at all!).  It's called Fuse Nail Polish.   Now let me be clear, this is not the gel nail system that you see for sale in mass merchandisers.  This is an indie line!!!!

I was sent three polishes to review.  All of them are toppers.  One is a flakie and the other two are glitter bombs.  I am not one to shy away from glitter so these were perfect to me.

Let's take a look at the lone flakie polish first.  This one is called Like A Diamond and it is a blue/green flashing flake polish.  This is one dabbed coat on top of Sinful Colors Go Go Boots. I felt that a purple polish for undies would be the best way to show it off.  The polish delivers a LOT of flakes per coat so take your time and you will enjoy the payoff.  I have it topped with Glisten and Glow HK Girl in the photos below.

Up next is Girls Love Beyonce, this is a gold glitter topper with many sizes of golden glitter.  I chose Violets Are Blue from Sinful Colors as the undies for this one.  I wore this for my Easter manicure.  It just felt so springy to me.  I had no issues with application on this one. I think this one was my favorite out of the three.

Last up is Pretty Girl Rock.  I loved this one pretty hard too. There is definitely something unique about this glitter mix.  In addition to my favorite color (purple!) there are some pink and gray glitter as well as some purple glitter in the shape of spades.  (Note, I did use a toothpick to stir the polish to ensure that the spades were incorporated into the polish and would come out on to my nails)  I think it's only natural that those larger glitters end up sinking to the bottom because of their surface area and size.

I layered two coats of Pretty Girl Rock over two coats of OPI My Vampire Is Buff and topped it with Glisten and Glow HK Girl (I layered all of it over Yellow Stopper so I was able to remove it when I wanted with little to no effort!)

All in all these were a pretty good introduction to the line and I will look forward to seeing what they have to offer in the future.

Which one was your favorite??

  2. Do you have another link to that shop? The big cartel one doesn't go anywhere and the instagram said "private". All I'm finding with a search is the gel polish. I love that first one and I want it! lol

  3. Jacky my email to them was returned. I am thinking they went out of business. So sad.
If I hear anything I will update.
