Aurora Lacqers Mystic Mermaid Review and Swatches

Press Sample

Hey there!

I hope your week is going well.  Things are good in my neighborhood.  Even if the weather isn't.  It's been gloomy, rainy and somewhat chilly lately.   How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

Today I have four polishes from a new to me brand called Aurora Lacquers.  I have been patiently waiting for my turn to get some of these pretties and I have to say that I am impressed.  This brand hasn't been around all that long, but let me tell you....they have done their homework.

I was sent four of the polishes from the Mystic Mermaid collection.  The collection itself is eight polishes in total.  There are two creams, three glitters, and three holos.  I have one holo, the two creams and one glitter.  So let's dive in!  (See what I did there )

Disclaimer: I used Barielle's Hydrating ridge filler on all pictures

First up is the holo I was sent.  This is Siren's Aura, a beautiful light purple holo.  I have used two coats here.  I topped this with Rica's Glossy Glam.  This wore well, I had it on for about four days, with no chips.  Color me impressed.

This is Nerina.  They describe this as a sunny blue lagoon creme.   I love light blue polishes like this. These are my jam.  These sorts of  colors and purples are so me.  This was two perfect coats and I topped it with Glossy Glam as well.

PURPLE!!!  I love purple, which is no surprise.  This is Violet Shore.  They describe this as an electric violet hued creme.  I loved this.  I used two coats here and I topped it with Glossy Glam.

Last up is Midnight Ocean.  This is a glitter polish that is PACKED full of holo glitter in lots of shapes (like stars, moons and hexes) .  I have two coats of Midnight Ocean shown over Violet Shore. I just adore the shaped glitter, the stars and moons. Check out the macro of the nail and bottle shot below!

I am going to say that I was impressed by these polishes.  They wore well, the colors were beautiful and I couldn't recommend them more.  I didn't just wear these for one day, it was days.
