Glam Polish Exotic Illusions Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Happy Wednesday everyone!!! I hope your week is going well!  It is surprisingly chilly up here in New York, it feels like fall.   Not that I mind, I like the fall weather.  Although the heat doesn't bother me either.  It's just the cold I can't deal with.  I am not a fan of that.  Or snow.  Hate snow.

Anyway...If you are a nail polish "collector" like me, then you probably have a wish list.  That list of brands or colors that you feel you need in your life.  One of the brands on my wish list was Glam Polish.  I have seen Glam Polish all over the place and especially on Instagram.  They always seemed to have the coolest holos or glitter mixes.  However, they are based in Australia so getting my hands on them was a bit tougher, so I never bought any.

Imagine my surprise when I was offered the chance to review four of them.  Of course I jumped at the chance.  I was so honored! I can now say that I will either be saving up to place an order to justify the shipping cost, or looking for a better way to get them (blog sales maybe?), because I need more of them.

I was sent four polishes from the Exotic Illusions collection and they were all beautiful.

First up is Witching Hour.  This is a purple holo which could have easily been a one coater, but I did two because that is usually how I paint my nails. I also topped it with Glossy Glam from Rica. You can tell how holo-y this is just by looking at the bottle.  I tried to get some sun pics of this but it didn't work.  Thanks to the previously mentioned fall weather.

This is Tranquil Shores.  This polish was one of the more complex ones.  Can you see the purple shift in these pictures?  This polish is so hard to describe! It's like a teal/turquoise holo with a color shift in it.  You can clearly see the purple in there.  It was so amazing in person.  I highly recommend everyone getting this one (and the others!)  I used three thin coats in the photos below, topped with Glossy Glam.

Next is Utopian Paradise, which was the most difficult to photograph.  It's a smudge greener in person.  Very bright! I used three coats here topped with Glossy Glam.  I am not a HUGE green lover, but this one was nice.  It's very very sparkly.

Last up if my FAVORITE out of the four....Peace Of Mind.  This polish is one of the reasons I am a day or so behind in my swatching.  I just don't want to take it off.  It's purple, it's blue, it's shiny, and it's holo-y.  Seriously, the color shift on this one is amazing.  This was three thin coats and topped with Glossy Glam.  I will be wearing this one for at least one more day.

I was so impressed with these polishes.  They all applied easily and they wore very well.  I wore these to work and I got MANY compliments on my manicures.  People are always amazed that I do my own nails.  I don't think they look fake, do you?

Bear in mind, that if you purchase directly from Glam Polish that shipping will take a bit as they are coming from Australia. But I highly recommend grabbing some.  I know I will be!

All shades are available from www.glampolish.com.au with shipping to Australia & USA.
USA Shipping Rates - $7.95 for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each additional polish.
