Different Dimension Spooky Spooky Collection

Press Sample

Hey everybody!!!!  I hope your week is going ok, mine is good so far!  Tonight was our first open house for little dude and he was SO EXCITED so show us everything.  I can't imagine having to run a classroom full of 5 year olds.  Bless those teachers.  Seriously.

Anyway, October and Halloween are just around the corner and I have an amazing collection to show you.  Different Dimension has a line of five polishes themed around Halloween, called the Spooky Spooky collection.  They will be available starting September 26 and are limited edition.  I thought these were all amazing (already a big fan of Different Dimension!) and complete on trend for fall AND Halloween.

In addition to this there are some amazing cuticle oils being released.  The scents for fall are going to be Pumpkin Caramel Latte, Cake Batter, Candy Corn, Candy Apply and Pumpkin Cheesecake.  These oils are great.  I was sent a pen of the Cake Batter oil and it smells so yummy.  It absorbed quickly into my skin and I can't wait to buy more. I want the two pumpkin ones.

Let's dig in to the polishes!!!

I have descriptions straight from Different Dimension that I will be using.

I think that this may be my favorite, and here I go putting it first!  This is Werewolves of London, a holographic orange polish.  It's such an amazing deep orange color and I don't have anything like this in my collection.  I used three thin coats and topped it with Glossy Glam.

Sunlight!

This one was also a favorite...cause it's purple y'all!   This is Thriller....go ahead sing the song, you know you want to!  Thriller is a dark violet jelly polish with added shimmer.  You can see that shimmer in these pictures.  It's like it glows from within.  I am so happy that it translated well in the photos.  Because it was a jelly I used three coats on this and topped it with Glossy Glam.  As a side note, I was sick last week and ended up wearing this for six days and had no chips in it.  That my friends, is amazing to me.

Up next is Ghostbusters.  Ghostbusters is a light neon orange crelly with iridescent glitters (and it glows in the dark!).  I used three thin coats on everything but my ring finger, on that I layered two coats over a white polish.  The suggestion from Different Dimension was to layer it over white to intensify the color so I figured I would include that so you could see what it would look like. I have this topped with Glossy Glam.

Now for the glitter topper...I knew this was going to be pretty but I was blown away when I got it on my nails.  The shimmer inside this is crazy!  This is Monster Mash!!!  Monster Mash is a glitter topper with orange, black and white glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes with added holographic shimmer.  I used two coats of Monster Mash over two coats of OPI My Vampire Is Buff. I topped it with Glossy Glam. Shimmery glittery goodness!

Last up is Dragula, Dragula is an orange jelly based texture polish with black and orange holographic glitters throughout. I think this is a subtle way to rock some Halloween colors in any environment (well subtle to me because I wear any and everything).  I have two coats here for full coverage.  Textured still with one coat of Glossy Glam but you can make it completely smooth with two coats of topcoat!

What do you think? Do you have any Halloween polishes?
Do you wear polishes specific for holidays?
