New York Color Fashion Queen Review

Press Sample

Hey hey hey!!!!  How was the week for everyone??  Mine was good. Worked out last night, it was a lot of weight lifting.  Feeling stronger every day.  I am so happy I made the decision to start working out.  I feel accomplished once I am done.  What's your favorite activity?

Anyway, today I have three of the new Crystal Couture polishes and one creme polish from the Fashion Queen line by New York Color.  These things are amazing.  I loved the glitters so much I went out and bought additional ones.  This limited edition set is available in certain mass market stores.  Check out the store locator here: NYC Store Locator (it's on the right side bar).   These retail for $1.99 each, and my display had coupons attached to make them even cheaper!!!!

There are nine polishes in all.  There are three creme polishes and six glitters.

Queen's Jewels is first up.  This is an emerald green glitter in a green jelly polish.  I used two coats and I topped it with Glossy Glam from Ricarda.  I was honestly surprised with the coverage with these. Was expecting to have to use at least three to achieve opacity.  So sparkly!

This is Royal Chic.  I was so confused about this color.  In the bottle it looked brown, really brown.  With one coat it looked purply, but then with two coats I couldn't tell what it was.  It's not brown, but it's not purple or burgundy either.  Any way you look at it, it's pretty and unique.  I have the two coats here topped with Glossy Glam.

The red glitter jelly is named Ruby Queen.  A fitting name for a gorgeous ruby colored polish.  This polish is packed with iridescent and red glitters in a red jelly base.  This one also has good opacity to it.  I was expecting less coverage than it provided.  You can still see some nail line, but it's not that bad.  Two coats here topped with Glossy Glam.

Saved my favorite one for last...this stunner is Blue Majesty.  It is SO SPARKLY!!!!  Complete opacity with two coats, topped with Glossy Glam.  Blue glitter in a blue jelly base.  I said this looks like an amped up Absolutely Alice.  It's amazing in person.

I was sent these four to review but I did run out and grab the purple one.  I hope to have that one up sometime soon.  I have some other stuff I have to get reviewed first! I also bought extras of the three glitter polishes to possibly do a giveaway.   Would anyone be interested in a giveaway?

Have you found these? Which ones did you get?

****Polished were provided for review, all opinions are 100% my own****
