One Direction Make Up Kits - Sponsored by BrandBacker

Hey there!!!!!!

Today's post is full of beauty and nails.  If you are a big One Direction fan or maybe you have tickets to their upcoming tour, then this is the post for you.  I know they are on tour and there is a big stretch of time that they are here in the states.   I have three sets of make up from Markwins that would be the perfect item to collect or to give to your favorite One Direction fan.

I have a set of lip glosses (which are called the Liquilights Glow Glosses), a set of hair/eyelash mascaras (Electroglam Mascaras), and nail polishes (Rock Me Nail Varnish).
They all come in boxes that look like brick walls with an outer sleeve that is clear and is the part that actually has all the information printed on it.

First up we have the lip glosses.  There are three of the Liquilights Lip Glosses in this set and they are all UV reactive.  Perfect for concert going :)    The colors are Kiss You (orange), Through The Dark (poppy red), and Taken (pink).  There is not a noticeable smell on these, lightly sweet if anything.  Formula is slightly sticky but not too bad, they are also very pigmented as you will see below.  These are also packed with glitter, these are not for the shy.

Here they all are together!

You can also choose to pick up a trio of hair/eyelash mascaras.  As you can see, there is a deep pink, a yellow, and a blue.  Word of caution.  This stuff will stain your hands. In an awful way.  They are highly pigmented.  You do need to put a large amount on if you have darker hair.  I have dark brown hair and I tried the blue out.  When I tried to put it in my hair I got it all over my hands when I tried to run it through my hair.  I couldn't get the blue off my hands.  Multiple washings and I even tried acetone and hand sanitizer.  It just had to wear off.  Plus it didn't show up in my hair very well, but I believe that's just due to my natural color.  I did not test the other colors based on my initial outcome with the hand staining.

The pink is Does He Know?, the yellow is Story Of My Life, and the blue is Why Don't We Go There.

Lastly is the nail lacquer kit.  You get three polishes and three coordinating loose glitters. The polishes are two jelly polishes and a glitter topper.  The polishes are named Happily for the blue, the pink is called Moments, and the glitter is called Diana. The glitter names are Kicks for the blue, the pink is called Not Afraid and the holographic one is called Star.

You need to take your time with these polishes.  Make sure that every coat has dried before applying another one.  Just be wary around your cuticles.  I flooded mine a little and it made clean up a little tricky.  In the pictures below I used three coats of polish and topped them with Glossy Glam.  The blue is still streaky but the pink was fabulous!

Just wanted to show that you can take the larger cap off to make it more manageable to use!

Index finger has Kicks glitter on it, middle finger has Star glitter on it, ring finger has a coat of Diana on it and my pinky has a coat of Not Afraid on it.

I think my favorite set out of these was the lip glosses, but I could totally see myself doing some nice jelly sandwich manicures with those polishes.
