Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Crooked Hearts Collection (Partial)

Hey there!

Happy Saturday to all!  I'm home relaxing and staying warm.  It's a toasty 28 degrees out right now.  HEAT WAVE!!!!!

I have an unusual Saturday post for you.  I meant to get this posted last night, but after we got home from the hockey game, I fell asleep.  I was tired.   Today's post features three of the polishes from the new Crooked Hearts collection from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.  The polishes were supposed to be available for purchase on February 9th, but the bottles needed for this collection have not arrived (despite being ordered in plenty of time) so it will now be a pre-order!

All swatches are done with Basic Training base coat (from KBShimmer) and topped with Glossy Glam (from Rica).  The color descriptions are from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.

First up is The One Worth Leaving.  This one is amazing in person.  I did capture some of the purple shimmer in it but man does it glow in person.  This is described as "deep berry with pink and purple shimmers".    Application was a breeze and I used three coats here.  It wore great and I got lots of compliments.

If you love greens, then this is a MUST for your collection.  Seriously.  Make sure you buy this one.  This is Sick Inside Wondering, "medium green with blue shimmers, dries satin".  Thankfully I was able to catch the blue shimmer in this, it's so pretty.  This is two coats with Glossy Glam topcoat. Just keep in mind that it will dry satin and if you want it shiny you will have to top coat it.

My last polish from this collection is, Might Not Recover.  This is "platinum flakes, reflective beads, purple holo glitters in varying sizes, and a smattering of silver holo glitters in varying sizes". The maker also notes that the reflective beads are heavier than normal glitters, so you may need to shake your bottle to mix them back in.   I always shake/roll my polishes before using them no matter what just to make sure things are mixed in!  This polish was fully opaque in two coats and I only used one coat of Glossy Glam here.  It was not completely smooth with one so if you want it smoother, just add another coat.  I am still wearing this polish and I can't stop staring at it.  The shine is amazing!!!!

The full set will cost $58 (full size bottles) | $32 (mini bottles) plus shipping.  For individual full size bottles, the shifter and platinum flakie will be $12 and the cremes, shimmers, glitters, and microglitters will be $8.50.  The individual mini bottles will cost $6 for the shifter and platinum flakie and $5 for the cremes, flakies, shimmers, glitters, and microglitters.  Siren Sweetheart will only be available in full size bottles and will cost $8.50.
